design is so far upstream of all the other functionality you want
your system to produce.. Optimizing workflow, capturing the necessary
data to create viable information, accommodating ad hoc queries,
generating reports, and more, depends on a solid design and standardization.
Depending on
the solution (ACT! software, GoldMine or Salesnet), configuration
includes the establishment of user defined fields and other database
objects, custom views, Windows pop-up entries and references, and
data security. It also includes the coding of activity and result
inputs so drill down into activities and sales results is possible.
We will create
and present, for your review, a prototype design and get feedback
for final modifications, prior to roll out. Our design meeting typically
is one half day.
After the design
of your database, Diamond Marketing Systems will assist your company
with decisions regarding procedures, security measures for maintaining
the integrity of the system, reporting requirements, training, and
support requirements.

Data migration
and cleansing are extremely important to your data management solution.
The routines for importing data into your system must be well defined.
The existing data must be cleaned before or after conversion, and
presented in the correct format, ready to transfer into your new
system. New procedures must be in place, after the initial migration,
to make sure that the data on the new system remains clean. You
can build the best-ever solution, but if it relies on poor data,
the decisions made with it will be poor as well.

of your existing data into your new system. Data migration may include;
the retrieval of data and related applications from your systems;
consulting on the mapping of data to the new system, conversion

Training will
be among the most important factors to the success of your sales

offer Basic, Advanced and Administrator training for ACT! software,
GoldMine and Salesnet. Training is typically task oriented and one-half
day.
Your customer relationship management system, that includes actual
production data, is used for hands-on training. As part of our salfes
force automation and customer relationship management solution training,
class exercises and tests which use functional modules can accompany
the custom training database.
